Fish the Yellowtail Shootout!

The 2012 Yellowtail Shootout will take place June 22-24 at Dana Landing in Mission Bay. Compete in the largest yellowtail tourney in California.

This event is the largest yellowtail tournament in Southern California with more than $20,000 in Cash & Prizes up for grabs!

The 2011 Yellowtail Shootout had a fleet of 52 boats and 183 anglers competing for bragging rights and some really great prizes, including cash, tackle, trips and more.

Fishing was scratchy but most of the teams managed to find fish. No one went home empty handed as each team received captain’s bags full of swag, and there were several door prizes and raffle items up for grabs. The event, sponsored by Typhoon Polarized Optics, is always a crowd pleaser with great food, a great award’s banquet and great camaraderie.

Team Profish took home top honors and since they were in the $100 and $300 dollar jackpots they walked off with an additional $8,460 in cash. At the end of the day, they won $11,260 in cash and $2,800 in prizes.
